Introduction

" Future with Hopes " project is funded by Zonta Club of Hong Kong East.  IDEAL believes that all individuals with intellectual disabilities also have potential for artistic creativity. This program aims to encourage caregivers to participate in their children's art creation and arouse the public's awareness of the needs and potential of people with disabilities through the exhibition of their artworks for the purpose of promoting inclusive society.

Project Objectives：

• Empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities to express their creativity and fostering their interests in art, thereby building their self-confidence.
• Recruiting caregiver to assist their children in learning, fostering parent-child relationship and positive communication.
• Providing training to individuals with intellectual disabilities and caregiver to demonstrate their artworks in exhibition, thus enhance their confidence.
• Individuals with intellectual disabilities served as guides in the public exhibition to introduce their artwork to visitors.
• Through public exhibitions, IDEAL aims to increase public awareness of the needs and potential of individuals with intellectual disabilities in artistic creativity, and encourage the public to contribute to building up an more inclusive society.
